NAIFA presentation in Sept.

Thanks to a referral from a co-worker, I’ll be presenting “Three Unassailable Social Media Truths” to the Fort Wayne Chapter of the National Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors (NAIFA) on Sept. 16. If you’re a member, post any questions in the comments, or email them to me, and I’ll do my best to incorporate some thoughts into my presentation. And if you’d like to see a full list of my speaking topics and classes, click on the link in the upper right-hand corner.

There are issues with FINRA and our own compliance departments in the Financial Services industry that limit some of our active prospecting on Facebook and LinkedIn. How do you recommend using these sites in a passive prospecting manner (not being able to contact them through these sites directly, but having to do it offsite via direct email, etc)? Thanks!

Hi Anthony, one other question: How much is too much with using LinkedIn to prospect. What are there limitations before they get grumpy with you for requesting too many connections?
