YouTube nonprofit program helps your organization tell its story

Whenever I have the chance to speak with nonprofits about social media, I always share two recommendations:

  1. Don’t just tell people about your organization. Tell stories about your organization.
  2. Whenever possible, tell those stories via video

From here on out, though, I’ll add a third recommendation that fits in pretty well with the other two: apply for the YouTube Nonprofit Program. It provides the opportunity for nonprofits to brand their channels and solicit donations directly through YouTube.  Here’s a quick overview:
