Getting too much email from LinkedIn? Here’s how to fix it.

LinkedIn has recently made some changes designed to make its site more sticky. Unfortunately, many of these changes are also resulting in seemingly ceaseless email reminders, all designed to get you to visit the site more often. If you’re hearing from LinkedIn a little too often, here’s how to fix it.

1. Log in to LinkedIn

2. Look for your name in the upper-right-hand corner. Hover your mouse over your name and click “Settings” (see below)

3. Click on email settings (see below)

4. Click on “Set the frequency of emails” (see below)

5. A box will pop up (see below) that gives you options for different messages. For example, you can chose to be notified when you receive Endorsements, or opt out of those messages entirely.

That’s it. As always, if you have any questions about LinkedIn, drop a note in the comments, or send me an email.
