Best of Content 2011, Part 2

Here are a few more of the Content posts that proved most popular in 2011…numbers 3-6.

Anyone who knows me knows I’m a pretty big fan on LinkedIn. That’s why it’s no surprise that it’s the subject of another post in this year’s top 10–“3 important principles for getting the most out of LinkedIn,” which comes in at number four.

Groupon was in the news quite a bit in 2011. It was also on this blog–but not for reasons very complimentary to Groupon. “Why I don’t (usually) recommend Groupon,” the fifth most popular Content post of 2011, sums up my opinion pretty well.

Number six, “Social media is like having a dog.” was helped along quite a bit by blogger Lauren Huston, with whom the post struck a nerve. Lauren was also kind enough to interview me to provide a little more detail about the analogy proposed by ESPN’s Carol Kruse.

Next up: two more posts that show how powerful social media can be in connecting the dots between people.
